An officer responded to a call of an assault at 114 Wood Ave. The victim said that he was riding his scooter down Broadview Road when he was flagged down by the offender.The victim told police that the offender acted as though he was going to say something, but instead and struck him in the mouth. The victim also stated that the offender left the scene in an unknown direction. The victim refused medical attention. The offender was located and charged with Simple Assault by citation and driven home to be remanded back to his parent\'s custody.
