At about 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 25, a suspect was pulled over on a routine traffic stop after a reporting party said they witnessed him in the Denny`s parking lot, possibly with a gun. Patrol officers saw the car traveling on Patton Avenue near Pearl Street and conducted the stop. Officers observed that the above suspect had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, conducted a field sobriety test, and arrested the suspect for DUI. After a inventory search of the vehicle, an officer located a clear plastic bag containing a white powdery substance believed to be Schedule II. Arrested was Dwayne Ruth, birth date 10/25/1984.
